Winter KidPix Stories

The first and second graders have recently finished winter stories in computer lab using KidPix software. Here are a few examples. Look for their wonderful drawings to be published as a ebook in the future!

Here I am using the Easy Blog Jr app to type and then add a picture. The picture is a photo of a project created in the lab using Kidpix.

Easy Blog Photo

I am testing out using a new app called Easy Blog Jr.  This is an example of posting a photo our blog using this app.  I was not able to add text, so I am adding this explanation to the post using my laotop.

PreK and the Preschool Memory Match App

20140219-075759.jpg

Recently, both PreK classes had a chance to try out the PreSchool Memory Match app.  I love this app because not only is it a great concentration game, but also has words and sounds.  Each puzzle is based on a category like fruits, transportation, or instruments and contains both items that students would be familiar with as well as things that may be new for them. A great way to extend student vocabulary.  We played the easy level which has twelve pictures to match, but there are medium and hard levels which can be very challenging!  You can see how intently the students are working!

PreSchool Memory Match is available for FREE on the iTunes Store and is the best memory match game that I have found.
