The second graders have partnered with another school (in a mystery location that we are trying to figure out from clues they have given us) to exchange 3D Stanleys! We have sent them the files for six 3D Stanleys for them to print. On Monday we started using our Dremel 3D40 printer to print the six files that they have sent to us!
The students have been enjoying watching the files print. We have been comparing the differences in how they were designed. Ours were created with the Morphi app and theirs were made using Maker’s Empire.
The 3D Stanley visitors will be joining the 2nd grade classes this week. Check out our Adventures of the 3D Stanleys blog to see what is happening in our classes as they visit!
UPDATE: Check out these pictures from Woodsdale Elementary as our 3D Stanley Crazy Characters visit their school!
Disclosure: As a part of the Dremel 3D Idea Builder Ambassadors program, our school has received the use of a 3D40 printer. If you are interested in learning more about the Dremel Idea Builder 3D40 printer, you may contact https://3dprinter.dremel.com/education-request. I’d appreciate it if you noted Karen Bosch/this blog post as a referral in the comments/questions section at the bottom of the form. Thanks!
