Valentine’s Day Party!

Our Valentine smiles!

Our Valentine’s Day party was a sweet success! We created and devoured our own ice cream sundaes!

To create our sundaes, we started with heaping scoopfuls of ice cream.

Then we dressed our ice cream with numerous toppings.

Learning God’s Word

We are privileged to be able to study God’s Word at school through Bible lessons and Chapel. While it is important to know God’s Word, it is even more important to obey it.

Our art teacher, Mrs. Crouch, illustrated the parable of the wise and foolish builders, or “Rocky” and “Sandy.” We want to build our lives on Jesus, our Rock and firm foundation.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! To kick off 2014, we made "mini-mes" of ourselves dressed in winter gear. We also set goals for how we can have a closer walk with Jesus.

Visit to Cranbrook December 9, 2013

During our December visit to Cranbrook, we were able to explore the museum on our own. The highlight of our visit, however, was trying our hands at flint-knapping, or the making of flaked or chipped stone tools.  Dr. Stafford, a master flint-knapper, taught us how to shape our stones into a sharp tool using elk antlers.
