We LOVED reading about the adventures of Little Blue and Little Yellow by Leo Lionni! Then we each got our very own little blue and little yellow in a plastic bag,we made them hug (because they are BEST friends), and just like in the book, they became little Green!
Oh how much fun we had after reading Mouse Paint by Ellen Stoll Walsh! We chose the color we wanted to make, painted each hand a different color…rubbed them together and just like MAGIC, we made a new color! Check us out!
WE loved Wearing Johnny Appleseed’s cooking pot on our head so much that we decided to make our very own Johnny Appleseed hats! Here we are with the finished products:)
After reading the story Corduroy by Don Freeman, we tested our number recognition and one to one sequential counting skills by gluing the correct number of buttons that appeared on each Corduroy’s tummy, 1-6:)
When we went to gym class, our teddies were up to some mischief! They snuck out of our room while we were gone, and we had to look all over the halls for them! We held hands just like in the Teddy Bear Picnic book, so none of us would get lost, and we were VERY quiet so we could catch them, and see what they were up to! You won’t BELIEVE where we found them! They were in our classroom having a PICNIC! We were so excited as we each found our stuffed friend and sat down and picnicked with them! Those SILLY teddies!
Oh what fun we had on Teddy Bear Picnic Day! We had fun taking a special picture with our stuffed friends and working hard on a special teddy craft!
